Rna

The human body is the most advanced disease detection tool on Earth. Your body knows it’s there immediately. It tries sending you messages through changes in your RNA. But these messages are encoded. A whisper from deep within. Impossible to hear. Until now.

At IVBH, we figure out which RNA molecules sound the alarm the loudest, in the earliest stages, and develop blood tests that allow you to listen-in on them, in real time.

The future of early detection.

In your blood.

Insight. RNA gene expression provides critical insights into origin of disease, immunological response and immune status. The dynamic genomic output of RNA serves as a fingerprint of the physiological state of cells, offering unique real-time information about disease progression and making early detection possible. We use these gene expression profiles as a surrogate measurement of disease phenotype, offering important information on the biology of the patient, rather than the biology of a tumor.

Measurement. Microarray and RNA seq technologies can measure 55,000 RNA molecules per patient (a 5-fold increase over the most advanced proteomic platforms). The breadth of these assays casts the widest net across patient biology, creating a rich exploratory universe for novel diagnostic target discovery.

Big Data. We have catalogued the world’s largest repository of gene expression data. Carefully selecting from diverse patient cohorts, globally sourced from the top academic institutions and cancer centers of excellence, our database serves as a vast ocean of biological discoveries waiting to be found. The heterogeneity across our database allows us to mimic the harsh and variable conditions found in the real world, giving us the utmost confidence in the efficacy and reproducibility of our science, and improving the probability of clinical success.

Clinical Detectability. Because we are not limited to detecting the presence of small fragments of tumor DNA, but instead detecting patient immune response to disease, our science is perfectly suited for PCR assay instrumentation. Our PCR compatibility allows us to detect our diagnostic targets at low sample volumes with high sensitivity, while minimizing cost and technical complexity — ensuring that we bring the most accurate, affordable and scalable blood tests to market.
